Today we chose a very low-budget resort called “Bondhur Bari”. The resort is located just opposite the main gate of Hotel Grand Sultan. We took a car along the side road for 2-3 minutes, and the resort was on our left-hand side.
Sreemangal has never disappointed me. Every time I visited Sreemangal, I returned to Dhaka with a happy heart. I am now going to Sreemangal for a relaxing trip with three companions. We arrived late at night and reached Sreemangal in the morning. We don’t have the plan to roam around. However, we do have the plan to move away from the urban noise and be near nature. We want to spend a day surrounded by greenery, the earth, and people.

Location and Accommodation:
Bondhur Bari resort is located just opposite the main gate of Hotel Grand Sultan. We took a car along the side road for 2-3 minutes, and the resort was on our left-hand side. After parking the car, we reached the resort within 30 seconds. The resort has a few simple houses with no artificial charms. They offer three categories of rooms – 4 semi-finished rooms, 2 bamboo cottages, and a mud house. The mud house can accommodate 6 people, while the other rooms can accommodate 2 people. Since we are four people, the resort owner charged us BDT 3500 for the mud house, which usually costs BDT 4000 for six persons.
Room Features:
When we reached the resort in the morning, guests were still in the rooms. I sat on the balcony of the resort and had breakfast as my stomach was empty. However, there is no complimentary food at Bondhur Bari Resort. But they will buy food and serve it to you upon request.
Mud House:
The mud house room is spacious, and 6 people can stay here comfortably. Instead of cots or posts, the bed is placed on raised slats. The room has six pillows and four big blankets, along with two fans for use in summer. The walls of the house are made of brick, and the upper texture is made of clay, giving it the name Mud House. The bathroom is simple, with a basin, high commode, and geyser. They provided soap, toothpaste, tissue, and sandals.
Bamboo Cottage:
The bamboo cottage is relatively smaller in size and suitable for two people. It is made of bamboo fence, and the bed is also made of bamboo. The bathroom is smaller than the bathroom in the mud house, but the facilities are the same. The rent for this room is BDT 1600 per day.
Resort Activities:
